Summertime Blues | Ghost Pepper Blueberry
I found this company at the apple festival in Ellijay and I have become a fan! The sauces I tasted were the new apple flavor and the summertime blues and I immediately knew I had to buy this one it goes great on everything! I purchased it on Sunday, opened it Tuesday when I got home, and I’m about to order some more(it’s Thursday) phenomenal sauce that I recommend anyone to try.
A few years ago, while I was living in Atlanta, I found myself attending a weekly vendor event called The Bizarre Bazaar, and this one was held in the basement arcade of a dive. Well, there was a kind gentleman (whose name I can't remember) who was giving out free samples of ATL BURNS sauces, and when I inquired, he handed me a Krispy Kream donut and told me to try the Summertime Blues.
What happened over the course of the next 90 seconds literally changed my life. Id always enjoyed hot foods, but something clicked. It had never occured to me that I could have my sweet treats AND get that good old ATL Burn. I ended up buying three bottles of the Blueberry that day.
Since then, I've lived in two other states, and I keep ordering Summertime Blues. I just ordered ANOTHER, and when it's gone? I'll buy more.
It's the best goddamn sauce you'll ever have, and it works on everything. From BBQ ribs, to venison steak, to breakfast sandwiches, to ice cream and baked goods.
It's fifteen dollars. It should cost more, but it doesn't. So, spend fifteen dollars, it's way worth it.
This is hands down my favorite flavor. You get that flavor of blueberry and then suddenly the heat kicks in. Great on BBQ or nachos or hell just a baked potato with butter.
I've tried four or five of y'all's flavors now, and each and every one has been delicious. Used the Blues to give some appetizer-style, slow-cooker meatballs a spicy, sweet kick and it was delicious. Heartily recommend.
